The hand built American Redmond Series Model 3 features the revolutionary Floyd Rose 'Speedloader' tremolo system. The Speedloader offers all the versatility of the original Floyd Rose Tremolo™ with the super-fast stringing ease and performance of the SpeedLoader System. You can still execute the most subtle tremolo or wildest dive-bombing effects and return to perfect tuning every time. The SpeedLoader tremolo also features the new Floyd Rose TremStopper that enables the player to block the tremolo system with a simple turn of a screw.
The Redmond Series Model 3 comes with a Floyd Rose vintage series humbucker in the bridge position and two Floyd Rose Vintage series single coil pickups in the forward position. Alone, the humbucker delivers a thicker tone for extra warmth, yet it also provides a classic “out of phase sound” when set in combination with the middle single-coil pickup. The other three positions of the five-way pickup selector switch deliver the bell like tones you expect from traditional single coils. It’s like having two guitars in one!
